Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their coverage needs and recommend thoughtful insurance solutions
Develop new business through referrals, networking, and consistent outreach
Review existing policies and help clients make adjustments as their needs change
Answer questions clearly and guide clients through the insurance process with care
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and follow-up tasks
Support retention by staying in touch with clients and providing responsive service
Work closely with the agency to support growth goals and a positive client experience
Stay informed on product offerings, carrier guidelines, and industry updates
Active state insurance license or ability to obtain one promptly
Experience in insurance sales, agency operations, or client advising
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
Comfort discussing coverage options, renewals, and policy updates
Organized approach to managing client accounts and follow-up
Familiarity with CRM systems or other client tracking tools
Preferred: experience working with personal lines, commercial lines, or a mix of both
Preferred: knowledge of local insurance markets and community-based service
