Are you someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, helping people through life changes, and being part of a close-knit, community-focused team?

Our agency has grown steadily over the past five years, and as we head into 202t, we’re ready to add another Insurance Account Representative to support that growth.

This role is about building relationships — not pressure sales. You’ll talk with individuals and families about protecting what matters most to them, especially during important life transitions like buying a home, starting a family, or planning for the future.

What you’ll do:
  • Have thoughtful, consultative conversations with primarily existing customers
  • Help customers understand insurance options that fit their needs
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, text, and in person
  • Follow up consistently and manage daily priorities
  • Represent our agency’s mission of putting customer needs first
You won’t be thrown in alone — training, tools, and support are part of how we operate.

What we’re looking for:
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Confidence and resilience (you don’t take “no” personally)
  • Ability to manage priorities and stay organized
  • Motivation to grow professionally and financially
  • Comfort working interdependently within a small team
 Licensing:
  • Maine Property & Casualty Producer License - to start
  • Maine Life & Health Producer License (willing to obtain within a certain timeframe)
(Candidates who are already licensed are strongly preferred; we will consider the right unlicensed candidate on a case-by-case basis.)

Schedule & Compensation:
  • Monday–Friday, daytime hours
  • Part-time or full-time opportunity
Pay structure:
  • First-year full-time earnings typically start around $60,000+, with additional upside as skills and production grow
Benefits:
  • Paid holidays & paid time off
  • Retirement plan with agency match
  • Health insurance stipend
  • Agency incentives and annual bonus opportunities
  • Quarterly paid volunteer opportunity
