ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly motivated and aggressive Property and Casualty Sales Specialist to join our team at John McGee State Farm located in Medina, OH just off the square. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with a strong sales drive and a proven track record in frontline sales.  This is not a position suited for someone to "wait for business to walk through the door."  We are looking for a motivated self-starter who has the ability to prospect and cultivate a strong and growing referral network.   If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships through outbound calling and referrals, we want to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy prospecting to drive new business growth
• Develop and maintain a robust referral network
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships
• Collaborate effectively as part of a small, dedicated sales team
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals consistently
• Limited existing customer service responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of frontline sales experience, preferably in insurance or related fields
• Current Property and Casualty license is required
• Life insurance license or ability to obtain is required
• Experience working in an environment with weekly and monthly sales goals and willingness to perform in such a setting
• Proven ability to generate leads and close sales independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependability and commitment to team success are critical

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly base plus commission
• Total compensation forecasted between $40,000 and $70,000 annually
• Retirement plan with company match available after successful completion of a 90-day orientation period
• Paid time off the first year after successful completion of a 90-day orientation period
• Paid licensing if applicable

Additional Information:

• This is an on-site position; remote work is not available
• Full-time only
