TradeWorX is hiring an Instrumentation Technician to support industrial automation and control systems across shop and field environments. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable, growth-focused contractor specializing in industrial and oil & gas systems.

Pay & Schedule - Up to $35/hour
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Shift: 6: 00 AM–2: 30 PM or 7: 00 AM–3: 30 PM
- Overtime: Project-dependent (40–50+ hours/week possible)
Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot PLC systems and assist with basic programming (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell)
- Configure and support HMIs (Red Lion, PanelView)
- Install and commission industrial automation and control systems
- Perform instrumentation troubleshooting (4–20mA loops, relays, transmitters)
- Support field service calls and system startups
Requirements - Industrial experience required (oil & gas, process systems, or manufacturing)
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and control circuits
- Ability to troubleshoot using a multimeter (mA, VDC, VAC, Ohms)
- Familiarity with Modbus and industrial communication systems
- Must supply basic electrical hand tools
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Modbus converter a plus
