Description

Instrumentation SupervisorLead daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities. Supervise E&I technicians, contractors, and maintenance personnel. Coordinate maintenance schedules and work priorities across departments. Manage preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities. Drive execution of preventive maintenance programs. Maintain a strong field presence supporting troubleshooting and safety. Support electrical distribution, instrumentation, analyzers, and control systems. Assist with DCS, PLC, and industrial control system maintenance. Coordinate contractor activities and ensure safety compliance. Support employee training, coaching, and performance development. Assist with workforce planning and resource allocation. Support plant shutdowns, repairs, and reliability improvements. Monitor maintenance backlogs, work orders, and labor utilization. Support spare parts planning and inventory management. Promote compliance with LOTO and other safety programs. Drive continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.My client is a leading specialty chemical manufacturer committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. The company offers a collaborative environment focused on reliability, efficiency, and long-term employee development.A successful Instrumentation Supervisor should have: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred. 5+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation experience. 2+ years of maintenance leadership experience preferred. Background in chemical, refinery, food, or industrial manufacturing. Knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, analyzers, and VFDs. Experience supporting DCS, PLC, and process control systems. Strong maintenance planning and scheduling experience. Familiarity with CMMS/SAP and Microsoft Office. Massachusetts Electrical License preferred. Strong understanding of industrial safety requirements. Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Lead a critical maintenance function. Strong focus on safety and reliability. High-visibility leadership opportunity.
