Instrumentation Superintendent to oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning readiness of instrumentation and control systems on a large LNG facility. Ensuring instrumentation systems are properly installed and prepared for startup.
Responsibilities
Supervise installation and calibration of field instrumentation
Oversee DCS, PLC, and control system installation support
Manage subcontractors and instrumentation technicians
Coordinate loop checks, functional testing, and system turnover
Ensure documentation, tagging, and punch list activities are completed
Support commissioning and startup troubleshooting
Maintain strong adherence to safety and quality standards
Qualifications
10+ years of instrumentation field experience in industrial environments
Experience with DCS, PLC, and control systems
Strong understanding of loop checks and commissioning processes
