ITS is working with a national client seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join their team in Austin, Texas.
Your Key Responsibilities
Design and implement instrumentation and facility automation systems for various industries.
Prepare wiring plans, diagrams, and control sequences.
Develop system architecture and network integration strategies.
Design industrial communication networks.
Conduct quality control reviews and apply industry standards.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients.
Mentor junior engineers and support process improvements.
Assist with proposal reviews and workload forecasting.
Meet client site requirements, including background checks.
Qualifications: Your Capabilities and Credentials
Strong knowledge of automation systems and controls engineering.
Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and alarm strategies.
Familiarity with industrial process control systems.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems preferred.
Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
Minimum 10 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.
