As an Instrumentation & Electrical Controls (IEC) Technician, you’ll help keep our production systems sharp, calibrated, and compliant while playing a key role in the fight against plastic pollution.

️ What You’ll Do
Calibrate + maintain process instruments
Troubleshoot PLCs, controls, and motors
Perform preventative + emergency maintenance
Ensure safety + compliance across systems
Contribute to process optimization + training
- Troubleshoot 3-phase 480VAC equipment, motors, VFDs, soft starts, MCCs, and switchgear
- Perform field calibration of instrumentation and controls (pressure, flow, temperature, pH, DO, valve positioners, etc.)
- Maintain and repair DCS, DeltaV, and Rockwell/Allen Bradley systems
- Execute fault analysis to prevent recurring equipment failures
- Accurately document PM activities and maintain system logs
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and cGMP protocols
- Support validation, housekeeping audits, and cross-functional troubleshooting
- Train and mentor new or developing IEC Technicians
What You Bring
Associate degree in Instrumentation/Electrical (preferred)
Electrical license preferred
2+ years' experience with industrial instrumentation + controls
Knowledge of analog, HART, Fieldbus, DeviceNet, AS-I, and IP devices
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite + CMMS software
Strong problem-solving, safety, and communication skills
Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks on ladders and in tight spaces
Shift + Environment
Start-up flexibility required with availability
Full-time | 12-hour shifts (day/night) | Mostly every other weekend OFF
- Frequent exposure to hot/cold environments, airborne particles, and mechanical systems
- Loud environments—hearing protection required in designated areas
- Some work performed in a shared, air-conditioned IEC office space
