SUMMARY
Serves as a Trio Summer Academy Math instructor for high school students (9th grade-12th grade) in the Trio Summer Academy. This is a six-week instructional assignment (June - July) with planning meetings commencing in June. The instructor will work approximately 12-15 hours per week, between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Teaches Math to high school students (9th grade-12th grade)
- Provides classroom supervision
- Monitors and keeps daily log of student attendance, behavior, and academic development
- Assists in the development of daily lesson plans and formative & summative assessments
- Develops and maintains class syllabi and grade reports
- Provides a comprehensive written summary on each class taught
- Develops engaging and hands-on lessons to facilitate teaching and learning
