Job Summary The Department of General Agriculture invites applications for one or more fixed-term non-tenure-track full-part-time Instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2025-2026 academic year and fall term 2026. Some of these appointments may be reviewed for renewal or transition to an instructional position on an annual basis at the discretion of the Department Head. Applications will be considered throughout the 2025-2026 academic year and fall term 2026 as opportunities become available. The department expects instructors to foster critical thinking, advance student knowledge and skills through teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses specifically in the fields of Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Communications, Agricultural Education, and/or Leadership.

Key Responsibilities 100% - Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Communications, Agricultural Education, and/or Leadership.

What You Will Need • Masters Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Education, Leadership, Communication, or related discipline appropriate to the field of teaching/instructional task. • Relevant teaching experience at the high school, college, or university level. • Demonstrated success and commitment to effective teaching and service. • Demonstrable commitment and ability to work with faculty, students, industry, clientele, and stakeholders. • Some courses require advanced technical expertise in certain areas such as Agricultural Systems Management courses. May require certification in a technical area depending on course taught.

What We Would Like You to Have • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of types of learners in diverse settings such as online education, continuing professional development, etc.
