Kansas State University's Olathe campus (https://olathe.k-state.edu/) invites qualified scholars and professionals to apply for a part-time, temporary instructor position to teach an online Emotional Intelligence Course for spring 2027. As a dual-listed course for the College of Applied and Professional Studies, instruction should support both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing professional skills that integrate with the technical knowledge needed for career advancement.
Instructor positions are non-tenure-track members of the faculty. Positions vary and are dependent upon the need, if any, each semester for the instruction of course(s) contingent on enrollment and staffing. The primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. The appointment dates will vary based on the type of appointment and the timeframe for the preparation and instruction of the course(s).

Worksite Description
This position is Remote eligible. This position is primarily online, with courses delivered in either synchronous or asynchronous formats depending on program need. Asynchronous instruction is preferred.
All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.
