Job Duties

Responsibility / Duty

Teaching: Responsibilities include teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program and/or the MSN Program, as applicable. Instruction occurs in a vibrant, technology-enhanced learning environment. A successful candidate must be professional, engaging, collegial, and function as a team member aligned to the educational principles of the programs of study. As both programs are CCNE accredited, each faculty member is responsible and accountable to fully engage in program assessment, and in particular, the systematic plan for program evaluation, as a shared and collective voice.

Percentage Of Time 80 Responsibility / Duty

Service: Responsibilities include service to the University, College, Department, Program, the community, and beyond. Service is integral and includes key functions such as advising and mentoring students, providing service in the form of committee work at all levels both internal and external to the University and Department, professional organizations, leading groups, and more.

Percentage Of Time 10 Responsibility / Duty

Research: Responsibilities include a commitment to scholarly activity. Activities include, but are not limited to, publications, original research, grant writing, presentations, and more. Scholarly work should support the educational environment through respective research, teaching, and/or service.
