General Description
Pay for this position is based on a 12 month contract. This is a temporary full time faculty position.
Salary Range: 0 to 10 years' Experience
Up to a Masters: $66,070 to $72,737
Doctorate: $74,737 to $81,403
The maximum number of years of experience an employee may receive is ten years.
Office location will be at the WCJC Richmond campus. Position will be required to travel regardless of the office location. Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department/division needs to ensure student success.
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
This position requires a Paramedic Certificate and an Associates Degree (in any discipline), 36 months of full time work experience, an unencumbered Texas Paramedic License or Texas Paramedic Certification, and a current Texas Instructor Certification for EMS. A criminal background check is required.

25 paid holidays per year for twelve month full time employees

Twelve month employees who work 40 hours per week for 12 months - 12 vacation days per year
