    • Current certification as a Physician Assistant or State of Louisiana APRN license
    • Master of Science in Nursing for NP candidates
    • National certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner, with prescriptive authority
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (American Heart Association)
    • Eligibility for Louisiana Prescriptive Authority
    • Prior experience in a hospital or clinic setting; urology or surgical specialty experience preferred but not required

    The selected Advanced Practice Provider will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-growing, academically driven urology clinic. Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting comprehensive urologic evaluations, follow-up visits, and chronic condition management
    • This position may partially support a Urologic Oncology physician who treats patients with urologic cancers.
    • Supporting faculty urologists in the coordination and optimization of outpatient care
    • Performing urology-specific outpatient procedures as credentialed and supervised
    • Collaborating with nursing, administrative, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure an exceptional patient experience
    • Participating in departmental quality improvement initiatives, faculty meetings, and continuing education activities
