MD, PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent required.
Arkansas medical licensure is also required.
Responsibilities:
Attend inpatient morning report sessions each morning and actively participate in case discussions and educational activities.
Organize and coordinate events and initiatives for the Pediatric Interest Group (PedsIG).
Participate in at least one class retreat and contribute to resident engagement and professional development activities.
Provide clinical coverage for one half-day each week in the Teaching Clinic or Continuity Clinic.
Serve as ward attending for up to four weeks annually on a general ward team.
Provide clinical services in a designated specialty or area of professional interest.
Maintain 24-hour coverage responsibilities for the Chief Resident's pager and/or cell phone coverage as assigned.
Assist with the organization and facilitation of morning report sessions, Academic Half-Day professional development series, and Ask & Answer educational activities.
Collaborate with incoming Chief Residents to develop and maintain the annual master schedule.
Participate in departmental, institutional, and residency-related committees as assigned.
Attend and actively participate in House Staff Office meetings.
Complete and participate in at least one scholarly activity or academic project annually.
Maintain regular attendance and participation at Grand Rounds and monthly Faculty Meetings.
Participate in Housestaff Office-sponsored resident social and engagement events.
Maintain regular office hours and availability to support program operations and resident needs.
