RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides instruction and supports student success in the Associate of Science in Education program, preparing students for paraprofessional roles in P–12 educational settings and future study in education. Responsibilities include planning and teaching courses, maintaining student records, and providing academic support, with an emphasis on teaching and learning, diversity in educational contexts, and math and science concepts for elementary and middle grades.
Teach courses within the Associate of Science in Education program, including day, evening, and online classes as assignedCOMPETENCIES:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following competencies:
Commission (PSC) and Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE)
Ability to integrate mathematics and science concepts appropriate for elementary and middle grades instructionrequirements
SALARY:
Salary will be commensurate with education and work experience. Additional benefits include paid state holidays, paid annual and sick leave, and participation in the State of Georgia Flexible Benefits Program.
