ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assist with supervision of students in other settings.
Maintain a well-ordered learning environment.
Enforce directed study hall rules and procedures to run a smooth/efficient study hall.
Maintain an atmosphere of respect toward people and property.
Maintain an atmosphere conducive to independent study.
Monitor student behavior and work habits.
Communicate with staff regarding work and problems of any/all children.
Supervise students during lunch periods.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
May be asked to participate in team processes for continuous improvement.
Perform tasks assisting clerical and administrative staff.
Perform other responsibilities set forth in the teacher assistant job description.
