New River Community and Technical College invites experienced aviation maintenance professionals to join our FAA Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Technology program as an Instructional Specialist- Aviation Maintenance. As a faculty member, you will deliver high-quality classroom and hands-on instruction in a state-of-the-art hangar environment while supporting student success, safety, and professional growth.
Position Overview
The Instructional Specialist- Aviation Maintenance serves as a full-time faculty member within the Aviation Maintenance Technology program and reports to the Dean of Technical, Workforce, and Community Education. Instruction takes place at the New River CTC Aviation Hangar located at the Raleigh County Airport.

10 years of verifiable aviation maintenance experience
At least 3 years meeting FAA Part 147 standards (required)
