Scappoose School District-Instructional Program Coordinator-Special Education
Position requirements:
Advanced computer skills
Ability to follow and maintain student records in compliance with Federal and State laws regarding students with disabilities
Ability to collaborate and coordinate with other school district staff and ODE regarding Federal program grants
Ability to work with instructional staff in person and virtually to coordinate for students and assess student learning
Performs job related tasks with a minimum of supervision
Experience working with Special Education Students
Student Information System and SpEd Oregon applied knowledge and training
Working knowledge of District, Special Education requirements, ELL services, Title I services and other Federal programs
Maintains high level of confidentiality understanding and implementing FERPA requirements
Position responsibilities include:
Compiles and prepares annual Special education, ELL, Title and other Federal Program Census
Maintains and compiles all Special Education manuals, pamphlets and correspondence
Preparation of all correspondence as required by the Special Education/Director of Student Services
Assists in compiling and reviewing data for monitoring of Federal programs to include Special Education, ELL, 504 and Title Programs
Compiles and prepares quarterly student accounting reports for ODE
Serves as liaison to district staff as appropriate
Monitors and supports OrSped data base
Maintains all physical Special Education files; current and past
Is punctual and maintains regular attendance
Salary: $27.58 - 29.69* per hour
Hours: 8 per day
260 days per year
