Description
A full-time, nine-month, instructional faculty position in Biology is available beginning January 2027. A master's degree in biology or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in biology or related field is required. College-level teaching experience is required; community college experience teaching both in-person and online are preferred. Candidates with experience in General Biology and Anatomy and Physiology are especially encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to active learning, student-centered pedagogy, and the effective use of technology to engage diverse learners. We are seeking an innovative educator who values collaboration and will bring new perspectives and creative teaching strategies to the team. Responsibilities include teaching biology and/or anatomy and physiology and related courses, developing and assessing curriculum, advising students, and participating in college-wide initiatives.

Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position reports to the Dean of Arts and Sciences and is located at the main campus in Springfield, OH.
