Description

We are seeking a creative and motivated Instructional Designer to support the development of engaging e-learning courses, virtual training materials, and other learning resources for a 5-month project. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of instructional design principles, hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline and/or Rise, and the ability to create interactive and visually appealing learning experiences.

Experience with AI-powered content development tools is preferred but not required. Candidates with a solid instructional design foundation, strong creative skills, and a willingness to learn will also be considered.

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop e-learning courses, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) materials, job aids, and other learning resources.
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective training solutions.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into learning content.
Develop interactive, engaging, and visually appealing learning experiences for virtual audiences.
Use Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Rise to create e-learning courses and interactive training modules.
Leverage AI-powered tools and effective prompting techniques to support content research, development, and instructional design.
Upload, test, configure, and maintain learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
Ensure training materials meet organizational branding, accessibility, and quality standards.
Review training content, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and make necessary revisions.
Support corporate learning and development initiatives while managing multiple project priorities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Approximately 3–5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or a related field. Candidates with less experience and strong potential may also be considered.
Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
Hands-on experience developing e-learning content using Articulate Storyline and/or Articulate Rise.
Experience developing content or activities for virtual learning environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and a strong eye for visual design, learner engagement, and interactive training activities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools.
Experience working in a Windows environment; candidates should not be dependent on Mac-based systems.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using AI tools to support content creation, research, instructional design, or training development.
Experience with SCORM-compliant LMS platforms.
Familiarity with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) and/or Workday Learning.
Experience uploading, configuring, testing, and maintaining training content in an LMS.
Experience supporting corporate learning and development programs.
Familiarity with multimedia learning assets, learning analytics, and training reports.
