Requirements / Qualifications

INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT II - SPECIAL EDUCATION Anticipated Site: Corey Elementary School - Hours: 5.8 hours per day Under the general supervision of the school principal, to independently perform a variety of follow-up instructional activities; to assist in the conduct of training and learning activities with children experiencing special learning needs; to perform a variety of routine clerical and supportive activities for instructional personnel; and to do other related work as required.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to participate in testing. Applicants must successfully pass all portions of the testing process to move forward in the recruitment process.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Copy of CPR & First Aid Certificate or letter stating you will obtain a CPR & First Aid certificate within the first six months of employment)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two current letters of recommendation (signed and dated within the last year))
• Proof of HS Graduation (Copy of Diploma or GED (or college degree))
• Resume
