Instructional Aide LLD Program 4 hours per day

Summary

Liberty Corner Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide to support our students in the Learning and Language Development (LLD) program. This part-time position involves working closely with teachers and students to create a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping students with diverse learning needs succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional plans and activities tailored to the needs of students in the LLD program.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to the teacher regarding individual student needs and achievements.
• Assist with classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational experience.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and adhere to school policies and procedures.

Requirements

• NJ Teaching Certification or NJ Substitute Certification required.
• Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special needs, is highly desirable.
• Background check clearance as required by school district policies.
