Instructional Aide CBAP Program 5.5 hours per day

SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Instructional Aide for the CBAP Program. This part-time position, requiring 5.5 hours of work per day, will be based at one of the schools. The successful candidate will support educators in delivering high-quality instructional experiences to students, assisting with a range of tasks that enhance learning and promote student engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist teachers in the preparation and implementation of instructional materials and activities.
• Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance as needed.
• Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers regarding student needs and performance.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including grading assignments and maintaining student records.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents regarding academic progress and concerns.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or program coordinator.

REQUIREMENTS

• Substitute Certificate or Teaching Certification required.
• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student learning.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the needs of individual students.
• Background check clearance as required by local regulations.
