Position Title: Install Technician* Reports to: Project Manager Classification: Hourly* Schedule: Full time
Purpose: Assist project manager with completion of projects and have the ability to complete projects individually.
Duties: Run wires independently
- Install cameras, access points, speakers, TVs, and terminate network wires independently
- Perform wire dress work that follows company standards
- Responsible for tracking all items that are removed from van stock
- Ensure transfers from main warehouse to van stock are accepted
- Update ProjX360 with notes daily on what was completed onsite
- Keep vans maintained and clean on a weekly basis
- Complete quarterly maintenance camera cleanings
- Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications/Requirements:Physical ability to lift equipment above 50 pounds
- Able to work with ladders at various heights
- Ability to work outdoors
- Potential exposure to allergens
- Exposure to loud noise
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive a cargo van and have a valid driver's license
- Minimum six months experience as a technician apprentice
- Ability to complete tasks individually
- High level of tool experience and ability to perform challenging drill work
- Experience terminating network wires and splice speaker wires
- Base level knowledge of rack equipment
