Job Summary

Responsible for installing aftermarket accessories for fleet and commercial vehicles, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring safety within the facility. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket accessories for fleet and commercial vehicles.
• Maintain top quality standards with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ensure the safety of the facility by following safety standards.
• Operate a variety of tools safely.
• Install electrical components in/on trucks.
• Place large truck equipment components as specified (no lifting over 40 lbs).
• Read computer job orders and job specifications to lay out plans for work procedures.
• Operate shop machines.
• Perform function tests upon completion.

Qualifications

• Ability to supply some of your own tools (a list of required tools is provided).
• Must wear pants, steel toe boots, and safety glasses (supplied).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well with others.
• Time management skills for managing personal and team schedules.
• Previous truck equipment installation experience is a bonus.
• Skills in welding and fabrication are a bonus.
• Experience in troubleshooting and testing electrical components and hydraulic systems is a bonus.
