Beyond Closets, a custom closet and cabinetry company in Delray Beach, FL, is hiring experienced installers who want real, consistent pay — not commission gimmicks or slow weeks. We pay $25–$30/hour based on experience, guarantee 40 hours a week, and offer paid holidays. If you take pride in clean, accurate installs and want a schedule you can actually plan your life around, we want to hear from you.
Job Responsibilities
- Install custom cabinetry and closet systems in customers' homes — for example, mounting wall-hung units level and flush using a laser level and shim pack
- Read and follow blueprints or cut sheets to make sure each piece goes exactly where it's designed to go
- Operate shop machinery as needed to fit or adjust components on-site or in the shop
- Maintain quality standards on every job — for example, checking reveal lines are even and drawers/doors operate smoothly before leaving a job
- Represent the company professionally in a customer's home — showing up on time, communicating clearly, and treating the space with respect
- Coordinate with the production team to flag any missing parts, damaged material, or issues before they turn into a callback
Qualifications
- Prior experience installing custom cabinetry or closet systems is required — this is not an entry-level position
- Comfortable and accurate with a tape measure, laser level, and shim pack
- Able to read blueprints or cut sheets and follow them precisely
- Experience operating power tools (drills, saws, drivers, etc.) — some tools provided, but having your own is important
- Strong attention to detail — clean reveal lines, properly functioning doors and drawers, no callbacks
- Reliable transportation and a consistent, on-time work history
- Professional demeanor — you'll be working inside customers' homes
