Job Description Summary
Implementation specialists use their technical knowledge to install, monitor, and customize clients'' systems for patient care infrastructure portfolio after an initial purchase of hardware or software. This role is based in El Paso to preconfigure devices prior to hospital delivery within our monitoring and patient care infrastructure portfolio includes patient monitoring, telemetry, Carescape network, Carescape Gateway, etc.

Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; OR equivalent military education; OR participant in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program; OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 or more years of experience servicing electronic equipment or networking solutions.
Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products.
The successful applicant must comply with GEHC''s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test. In addition, during employment, the employee must comply with all customer access policies, including but not limited to obtaining and/or providing proof of required immunizations, and additional drug tests or background checks (including a federal government background check if assigned to support a contract with the federal government).
Desired Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in installing and configuring network equipment or patient monitoring
1+ year of demonstrated leadership experience
Demonstrated experience implementing disaster recovery procedures
Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
