Penmac Staffing is hiring Inspector Packers for a well-established manufacturing facility. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. The Inspector Packer is responsible for inspecting products for quality, packaging finished goods, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Pay: $17.50/hour Schedule:
- 3rd Shift
- 8:00 p.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe footwear
- Must be willing to follow all dress code and safety requirements
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of products to identify quality defects
- Package finished products according to customer and company specifications
- Prepare packing materials, labels, and finished products for shipment
- Utilize quality procedures and manufacturing guidelines to ensure products meet specifications
- Complete required production documentation accurately
- Enter production information into monitoring systems as required
- Communicate quality and production concerns to supervisors and team members
- Sort nonconforming products as directed
- Perform manual or semi-automated assembly duties when assigned
- Follow all company quality, safety, and production procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Report equipment, quality, or safety concerns to leadership
- Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers
- Perform other duties as assigned
