Inspector Packer A Shift (ID #504757)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision the Inspector Packer is responsible for inspection and packaging of containers while ensuring that these are in accordance with company quality standards.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

• Perform visual inspection of all parts produced by designated machine(s)
• Ensures parts are in compliance with work orders as well as company quality standards.
• Packages container in carton based on instructions listed on work order.
• Maintains steady machine flow on machine(s) assigned.
• Informs Quality Assurance Assistant or Shift Supervisor of defective or unacceptable parts.
• Applies Inspector number to all cases and securely seals carton
• Responsible for housekeeping and safety of designated machine area.

• Assists with training of incoming Inspector/Packers.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Basic math skills.
• Possess good hand-eye coordination with manual dexterity.
• Teamwork-cooperative and respectful of all employees/department.
