Description

Inspects manufactured goods during the manufacturing process. Conducts dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies.
This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education, or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks, as well as defined guidelines, to aid in decision-making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in one's own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job is expected to follow detailed, defined rules/instructions and make simple judgments in straightforward situations. Typically requires selecting between established solutions. This job typically requires no experience.

Position Summary:
Perform various functions associated with quality control and quality assurance duties as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives. Types of work include:
Under general supervision, performing inspection and testing activities of robot components, instruments, and other products in the incoming receipt, packaging, and/or
release of Medical Devices at , ensuring product quality and throughput goals are met. Ensure compliance with procedures and practices at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
Working within the Inspection Team, is responsible for inspection-related activities, specific to each sites requirements, may include but not limited to the following:
Perform dimensional and/or visual inspection to blueprint using gauges and other reliable inspection equipment.
Perform material and component inspections.
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) and verify FAI data (incl. statistical analysis) is acceptable.
Read and inspect to blueprints and/or inspection guide sheets/instructions.
Perform Document Review, analyze, inspect, and archive DHRs (paper-based and/or electronically) in compliance with GMP/GDP requirements prior to release to finished goods.
Perform computer system transactions related to router inspections, etc.
Segregate, quarantine, and complete documentation for non-conforming materials when necessary.
Initiate quarantine tickets (non-conformance reports)
Perform product release disposition tasks in the ERP system
Support the achievement of Inspection Teams KPI's.
Work to forecasts and plans based on Business requirements
