Your Contribution
- Performs visual and dimensional in-process and final inspection of all products in accordance with established processes and procedures
- Performs, with limited direct supervision, visual and dimensional in-process and final inspections of most products in accordance with SPIs and inspection and test methods
- Completes and submits accurate reporting of inspection results and data, including R&D projects
- Uses the majority of types of measuring equipment, and references prints, to perform most types of inspection methods and procedures
- Operates some types of inspection machines within a particular product line
- Performs first article inspections
- Complies with all safety rules and regulations
- Trains less qualified inspectors and instructs manufacturing personnel in various inspection methods and procedures
- Maintains housekeeping practices per departmental 5S program
- Able to meet utilization targets and standard times
- Accurately enters Database/SAP transactions in the computer
- Maintains daily records, including labor sheets and routers
- Responsible for observing and following all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures
Your Profile
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Knowledge of gauging and measuring equipment preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and results oriented
- Ability to work in a team oriented environment
- Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
- Due to the nature of work performed at this facility, US Person status may be required
Hourly Pay Ranges: Level C ($1900-$2150); Level B ($2200-$2450); Level A ($2500-$2750)
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience
