Join our team as an Inspector 1, Quality Control in Sumter, SC. This is a contract opportunity for recent college or technical graduates eager to launch their careers in quality assurance. We offer a structured 8pm-8am night shift with a unique rotating schedule, including weekends, and a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour (night shift differential included). [Responsibilities]
- Conduct thorough product inspections prior to release, ensuring adherence to all specifications
- Perform various testing procedures and simple statistical analyses to verify quality standards
- Review, compile, and submit release documentation for raw materials and finished goods
- Sign off on release documentation and maintain accurate records in SAP Quality Module
- Statistically sample hold products and report nonconformance issues to leadership
- Monitor and document audit findings, supporting ongoing compliance with quality system regulations
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality system standards
[Required Skills and Experience]
- High school diploma or GED required
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and independent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and quality testing
- Knowledge of Quality System Regulations
- Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and follow rotating schedules
- Steel toe or composite safety shoes required
- Must pass an eye exam
