Job Description
Actual Job Title: Injection Molding Quality Inspector
QA inspector role in our injection Molding department
CW will be covering for someone out on leave that will be needed for more than 6 months, so would look for 1 year contract.
Work Scheduled hours 7pm to 7am  will work 3 days on then 2 days off then 2 days on then 3 days off includings weekends, 12 hour shift.
Drug Screening is not required
Eye exam is required
Background check is required, Candidate can start once criminal background checks have cleared
Steel Toe or composite shoes are required
Area is climate controlled

Injection Molding Quality Inspector
Reports directly to the Quality Engineer.  Directly monitors, inspects, and audits the process and product for compliance to specifications, assures integrity of process control systems and detects trends in product quality where applicable.

Essential Functions 
Must possess the ability to perform various testing procedures and simple statistical analysis.
Perform complete inspection of product prior to release according to applicable specifications within assigned Business Unit.
Apply appropriate statistical sampling plan.
Stat sample or contain all hold products as applicable per the appropriate specification requirements.
Record the results of inspections and audit findings on the appropriate forms and/or in the Quality Module of SAP.
Report all product non-conformance issues to Quality and Production Management where appropriate.
Maintains adherence to all safety, environmental and quality system standards.
Perform all other miscellaneous duties as appropriately directed by Quality Management or designate.
Follow all site required safety and quality policies.

Education:
H.S. diploma (if hired after 01-Jun-2000). Internal transfers exempted.

Experience:
6 months QA experience or exposure

Knowledge, skills, or abilities required:
Ability to navigate a computer in a Windows based environment.
Use of measurement devices such as Calipers, Go/No-Go Gauges, Optical Comparators, Digital Force gauges and rules.
An assessment will be applied to gauge proficiency of some of the above requirements.
No Supervision of others.

Working Conditions:
Position is a 12-hr-night shift position on a 3-2-2-3 rotation 7pm-7am.

is a smoke-free campus.  Smoking and the use of electronic smoking devices, marijuana, or tobacco products are not allowed on  property, grounds or in the parking areas.  We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this policy
False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals.  Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.
Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production
