Starting pay of $17.00 per hour. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs visual inspections and reworks parts per inspection instructions on process sheet, inspection files or instructions given from Finishing Supervisor, Shift Lead or Plant Manager.
- Able to fill out scrap report.
- Able to inspect per the grade requirements of the part (i.e. to not over-inspect or let too many defects go).
- Able to read and fill out the Production/Process Sheet and follow written and verbal directions.
- Able to understand difference between the following casting defects: excess metal, non-fill, broken, and cut-off/grinding damage.
- Obey all safety rules.
