As a Software Sales Consultant with Concordia Technology Solutions (CTS), you'll work directly with pastors, church administrators, and ministry leaders to help them find software solutions that strengthen their operations and member care. This isn't cold-call quota grinding - it's consultative selling that makes a real difference for faith communities across the country.

What You'll Do (Day to Day)

You'll manage the full sales process for assigned leads and customers:

  • Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls with pastors and church staff
  • Ask thoughtful questions to assess ministry and technology needs
  • Recommend the best CTS software solutions for each congregation
  • Deliver live virtual product demonstrations and responsibly close sales
  • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot (or similar CRM)
  • Follow up with customers to support renewals and long‑term relationships
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed
  • Provide initial product training during trial periods
  • Maintain working knowledge of CTS software, including Church360°®, Shepherd's Staff®, Lutheran Service Builder®, and related tools

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a service‑oriented sales professional who is comfortable with both technology and ministry settings:

  • 1+ year of telephone or inside sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to move prospects from interest to close
  • Experience selling software or conducting live product demos preferred
  • Strong communication skills (phone, video, and written)
  • Comfort using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Solid organizational and follow‑up skills
  • Willingness to learn church‑focused software and customer needs
  • Comfort working in an LCMS / church‑serving environment (LCMS background is helpful but not required)
