Inside Sales Representative

Accrufer®/Feraccru® (ferric maltol) is a novel, stable, non-salt based oral therapy for adults with iron deficiency, with or without anemia. Accrufer®/Feraccru® has a novel mechanism of action compared to other oral iron therapies and has been shown to be an efficacious and well-tolerated therapy in a range of clinical trials. Role Description:

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative is focused on proactively calling healthcare providers and office staff to create meaningful sales conversations, identify opportunities, generate new prescribers, and increase ACCRUFeR utilization within existing accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily outbound sales calls to targeted healthcare providers and office staff.

• Prospect and develop high-opportunity healthcare accounts through consistent phone engagement.

• Navigate healthcare offices to reach and engage key decision-makers.

• Deliver effective ACCRUFeR sales messaging using approved promotional materials and resources.

• Identify customer needs, uncover barriers to prescribing, address objections, and close for appropriate next steps.

• Generate new ACCRUFeR writers while increasing prescribing depth within existing accounts.

• Work directly with cross functional departments such a Outside Sales, marketing, exc.

• Conduct consistent follow-up calls to move providers through the sales call continuum and convert opportunities into business.

• Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, nurses, medical assistants, office managers, and other key office personnel.

• Utilize sales data to prioritize providers and focus call activity on accounts with the greatest growth potential.

• Develop strategic call plans and maintain a consistent cadence with targeted accounts.

• Effectively communicate clinical and product information related to ACCRUFeR and iron deficiency/iron deficiency anemia.

• Document customer interactions, opportunities, objections, and follow-up activities within the CRM.

• Partner with Territory Sales Managers and leadership to identify opportunities and coordinate account strategies.

• Meet or exceed established call activity, provider engagement, new-writer, prescription, and sales performance expectations.

• Maintain compliance with all company policies, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical promotional requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Previous experience in B2B sales, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or high-volume customer service preferred.

• Strong phone-based selling and prospecting skills.

• Competitive, energetic, and results-oriented mindset.

• Strong follow-up skills with the discipline to consistently re-engage targeted providers.

• Ability to analyze sales data and use it to prioritize daily calling activity.

• Highly organized, accountable, and comfortable working in a metrics-driven sales environment.

• Coachable and willing to participate in ongoing call coaching, role-playing, and skill development.
