Grain Processing Corporation, a KENT WORLDWIDE company, is seeking an on-site Inside Sales Representative to help drive growth within our Industrial Starch Sales team. In this role, you'll play a key part in expanding business across the paper, corrugated, and industrial markets by partnering with customers to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, and deliver value-driven solutions. This position combines account management, business development, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive customer success and business results.     • This role is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, Iowa

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    •  Responsible for the marketing and sale of products assigned as Industrial Sales Products.
    • Report on customer activities, including shipping, and on order volumes, sales forecasts, and logistical items.
    • Report on competitive activity, such as pricing, new products, policy, or quality.
    • Maintain up-to-date sales records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and publishes reporting on contracted volume compliance.
    • Conducts market surveys, reporting, and other special assignments.
    • Initiate and maintain personal, phone, and written contracts with customers.
    • Cultivate accounts by maintaining close business relationships with Procurement, Product Development, Production, and other partners who influence purchasing decisions.
    • Identify key accounts, both current and potential, in territory, and develop strategy to build and maintain business at these accounts.
    • Oversee internet inquiries and delegate as necessary.
    • Oversee new customer setup process for all industrial accounts.
    • Act as pricing liaison between sales and customer service.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION, QUALITIFICATIONS, &/OR SKILLS NEEDED

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relative field of study is preferred.
    • Minimum two years of technical or specialty sales experience preferred.
    • Experience with wet milling or related starch industry desired.
    • Demonstrates strong market insight and strategic alignment with long-term business goals.
    • Exercises sound judgment, ethical decision-making, and personal integrity.
    • Communicates confidently and effectively across written and verbal channels.
    • Operates independently while fostering collaboration and team-oriented results.
    • Proactive in identifying solutions, developing sales strategies, and engaging key stakeholders.

    TRAVEL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Minimal travel is required (<10%) for trainings, company events, customer on-site visits, etc.
    • Primarily an office environment with occasional visits to plant facilities where required safety policies and PPE requirements must be followed.
