Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview
Seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to support day-to-day sales operations and provide a high level of service to customers. This position will manage incoming customer inquiries, process sales orders, prepare and follow up on quotations, and coordinate closely with both the sales and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email. Accuracy and strong follow-through are essential in this role.

Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
30-minute lunch

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to sales-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor individual and shared sales email accounts and ensure customer requests receive prompt responses.
• Enter sales orders into the company’s computer system based on incoming customer purchase orders.
• Maintain current pricing information and supporting documentation needed to prepare customer quotations and accurately process orders.
• Assist customers with questions regarding products, pricing, delivery timelines, specifications, order details, and other general information.
• Review and approve outgoing orders for daily shipment with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Conduct customer outreach through phone, email, and mail to prospective or new customers as directed.
• Follow up on quotations to maintain communication with customers and support potential sales opportunities.
• Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure orders move smoothly from initial request through fulfillment.
• Communicate questions, concerns, and important customer or order updates quickly and clearly with the appropriate team members.
