We are seeking candidates for a Inside Sales Representative opportunity with our manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. Candidates must possess a strong technical acumen and attention to detail. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Increase sales within the assigned territory and customers.
- Review and interpret customer requirements and answer questions received by phone, email or fax.
- Perform sizing calculations and select appropriate product.
- Prepare quotations for customers in accordance with project specification sample quotation or information provided by representatives.
- Be main point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
- Ensure that all departments are aware of any special orders or requirements.
- Proactively work with Regional Sales Managers to secure new business, address issues, and get customers the information that is needed.
- Interact with Engineering, Customer Service and Manufacturing departments to obtain information as required to answer customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Follow-up with customer to secure order or determine status of opportunity (won or loss).
- Serve as intermediary between factory and representatives for quotations and technical information.
- Respond to resubmittal comments when quotations were provided to customers.
- Assist Customer Service department throughout Order Entry process by answering questions as they arise.
- Input data into the CRM system.
- Other tasks deemed necessary by Management.
Education/Training/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or a related field
- 3- 5+ years' experience in Applications, Customer Service or Inside Sales
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Ability to read and comprehend basic electrical drawings
