Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking candidates for a Inside Sales Representative opportunity with our manufacturing client in Canonsburg, PA. Candidates must possess a strong technical acumen and attention to detail. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Increase sales within the assigned territory and customers.
• Review and interpret customer requirements and answer questions received by phone, email or fax.
• Perform sizing calculations and select appropriate product.
• Prepare quotations for customers in accordance with project specification sample quotation or information provided by representatives.
• Be main point of contact for customers within the assigned territory.
• Ensure that all departments are aware of any special orders or requirements.
• Proactively work with Regional Sales Managers to secure new business, address issues, and get customers the information that is needed.
• Interact with Engineering, Customer Service and Manufacturing departments to obtain information as required to answer customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Follow-up with customer to secure order or determine status of opportunity (won or loss).
• Serve as intermediary between factory and representatives for quotations and technical information.
• Respond to resubmittal comments when quotations were provided to customers.
• Assist Customer Service department throughout Order Entry process by answering questions as they arise.
• Input data into the CRM system.
• Other tasks deemed necessary by Management.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or a related field
• 3- 5+ years' experience in Applications, Customer Service or Inside Sales
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
• Ability to read and comprehend basic electrical drawings
