Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Onsite

Pay: $23/hour during the temporary assignment. Upon permanent hire, employees become eligible for a commission program based on performance.

About the Opportunity

A growing and fast-paced organization is seeking an energetic Inside Sales Associate to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping customers find solutions. The right candidate will thrive in a goal-oriented environment and be excited about earning additional income through performance-based commissions after conversion.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships within an assigned territory.
• Generate sales through outbound calls, email outreach, and follow-up on inbound leads.
• Convert quotes into orders while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Promote products, programs, and company initiatives to both new and existing customers.
• Track sales activity, customer interactions, and key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with field sales representatives and internal teams to provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and team performance.
• Deliver a professional and positive customer experience with every interaction.
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable discussing pricing, margins, and customer needs.
• Ability to analyze sales information and identify opportunities for growth.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.
• ERP system experience is a plus.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related fields is beneficial but not required.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous inside sales, customer service, account management, or business development experience preferred.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
