A well-established, family-owned manufacturing company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join its team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers and has a mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls and assist with product selection, orders, and troubleshooting.
- Provide customer support by phone, email, and in person.
- Assist customers with equipment, parts, and technical questions.
- Demonstrate and operate equipment for customers.
- Test equipment for quality and proper operation.
- Enter quotes, orders, and customer information accurately.
- Use manuals and parts diagrams to identify parts.
- Communicate customer needs and order details to internal teams.
- Assist with packing and shipping parts as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of customer service, inside sales, or similar experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with outdoor, industrial, or mechanical equipment is a plus.
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience is preferred.
