Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales & Marketing Specialist to support our North America Business Development team and help expand XtalPi's Chemistry Services business.

This role will focus on lead generation, outbound outreach, conference/event coordination, marketing material preparation, sales training support, and sales operations support. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with scientists and business stakeholders across the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Development team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities through LinkedIn, email campaigns, conferences, and industry databases
  • Prepare and maintain Business Development and marketing materials, including company introductions, service brochures, pitch decks, conference materials, and client-facing presentations
  • Support the preparation and organization of sales training materials, onboarding content, and internal sales enablement resources for BD teams
  • Coordinate with scientific and business teams to translate technical content into clear and commercially oriented marketing materials
  • Support the creation of LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, newsletters, and other outbound marketing content
  • Assist with branding and promotional activities for conferences, webinars, and customer events
  • Help organize customer case studies, project highlights, competitor analysis, and market intelligence materials to support BD activities
  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence within the biotech, pharma, CRO, and chemistry services industries
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with scientific, marketing, and business teams across global offices
  • Help track sales metrics, customer feedback, and campaign performance to support business growth initiatives
  • Support existing customer relationships through regular communication and coordination

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, scientific marketing, business operations, customer success, recruiting, or related functions preferred
  • Strong interest in biotech, pharmaceutical R&D, AI-driven drug discovery, or chemistry services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with scientific and business stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in an international team setting
  • Experience with CRM tools, LinkedIn outreach, PowerPoint presentation preparation, conference coordination, or marketing platforms is a plus
  • Prior exposure to CRO, drug discovery, chemistry, or life sciences industries is preferred but not required
