Inside Sales Executive

VAE, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Executive to support the Sales organization in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships and identifying, pursuing, and responding to Request for Quote (RFQ) opportunities under the ITES-4H and SEWP contract vehicles. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, effective communication across phone, email, and chat channels, and a solid understanding of federal government contracting, including experience working with the U.S. Department of War.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain positive customer relationships throughout the sales lifecycle, serving as a responsive point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
• Search for, identify, and respond to Request for Quotes (RFQs) under the ITES-4H and SEWP contract vehicles.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotes in response to customer and government requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather pricing, product availability, and technical information needed to fulfill RFQ requests.
• Track and follow up on open opportunities to ensure timely responses and successful order closure.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers and government stakeholders via phone, email, and chat.
• Maintain organized records of customer interactions, quotes, and RFQ activity in relevant systems.
• Stay current on federal contracting requirements and processes relevant to the U.S. Department of War and other government customers.
