Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and customer focused Inside Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for assisting contractors and homeowners with their orders, answering phones, helping customers find products, processing sales, and keeping the store and inventory organized. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, comfortable working with customers, and willing to learn about our products and services.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders from contractors and homeowners both in person and over the phone
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions
- Assist customers in the store with locating products and finding what they need
- Process customer checkouts and payments accurately
- Place and manage special orders for products and materials
- Help receive, stock, and organize inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Work as part of a team to ensure customers receive prompt and helpful service
Qualifications
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or building-supply experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Schedule and Pay
- $15–$18/hour based on experience
- Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays
