Inside Account Manager - Weekend

The account manager position is fast-paced and gives the employee the opportunity to connect with a variety of different people. The Account Manager position manages a book of clients with their day-to-day shipping needs. This position also provides thorough training that will equip the employee with the information needed to be successful in this position. This role comes with a competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions for a first year on target earnings of $60-$80K.

Role Of Account ManagersThis position allows the employee a high level of freedom to organize and operate their book of business effectively. This position is supported by a sales team that supplies Account Managers with clients. Effective account managers develop quality relationships with their book of clients and encourage repeat sales through fast response rates and quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage your own book of business by coordinating shipping needs and developing client relationships.
• Work with shippers to provide transportation for various goods across the country.
• Provide tracking and thorough communication on all shipments.
• Negotiate and contract pricing agreements with carriers.
• Plan and coordinate shipment schedules.

• Must be an independent problem solver and quick thinker.
• Must be a self-motivated, hardworking, and driven individual with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Must be able to operate efficiently under pressure.
• Must have good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to multitask efficiently with email, software, and multiple monitors.
• No experience in logistics necessary. Must be coachable and eager to learn.

The Weekend Account Manager hours rotate as follows: Saturday: 8:00am-12:00am (Work from home after 5pm) Sunday: 9:00am-12:00am (Work from home after 5pm) Monday: 8:00am-11:00am Saturday: 6:00am-6:00pm Sunday: 6:00am-6:00pm Monday: 8:00am-11:00am
