Job Summary
We are hiring an Insert Operator for a print production and mailing facility in Dallas, Texas. This position is responsible for setting up and operating inserting equipment to process mailing projects according to job specifications, postal regulations, quality standards, and customer deadlines.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has basic computer and mathematical skills, and can troubleshoot equipment to maintain efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate inserting, metering, and mail-sorting equipment.
- Process mailing projects according to job specifications and customer requirements.
- Ensure mail pieces meet applicable postal regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate production workloads to meet customer deadlines and productivity goals.
- Inspect mail pieces for accuracy and quality throughout production.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow written instructions for machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow established procedures.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
