Position Highlights:- Serve as Medical Director of an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF)
- Provide physician oversight, quality, and regulatory leadership (CMS 60% rule, 3-hour rule, CARF / Joint Commission)
- Lead the rehab medical staff and partner with hospital administration, therapy, and nursing
- Maintain a clinical attending caseload in addition to leadership duties
- Drive utilization review, length-of-stay management, FIM scores, and outcome metrics
Qualifications:- BC in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation OR Internal Medicine with significant IRF experience
- Minimum 2 years as an attending in an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility
- Demonstrated leadership in rehab medicine, QA, and CMS regulatory compliance
- Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
- Board Certification: yes
