Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Pharmacist for a short-term inpatient hospital coverage assignment in the Monticello, KY area. This role will support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting including order entry, IV preparation, automation support, and medication dispensing.
Assignment Details
- Training: May 15 | 7:30am – 4:00pm plus on-call
- Coverage: May 16–17 | On-call only
- Coverage: May 18–19 | 7:30am – 4:00pm plus on-call
- On-call extends until 7:30am on May 20
Weekend coverage: On-call only
Requirements
- Active Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
- Inpatient hospital experience required
- Experience with order entry, IV mixing, and automation
- MEDHOST experience preferred
Omnicell experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Order entry and medication verification
- IV preparation and medication dispensing
- Automation management and Omnicell support
- Clinical support for medical staff
