Role overview:
  • Lead best-practice models and patient care delivery standards across multiple locations.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality care 24/7 by overseeing nursing services and clinical operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, external providers, and cross-functional teams to improve outcomes.
  • Manage staffing, resource allocation, equipment, supplies, and medication use.
  • Maintain clinical expertise and provide supervision, coaching, and competency validation.
  • Delegate tasks aligned to scope of practice and perform clinical duties as needed.
  • Resolve patient, family, and member concerns related to care and services.
Leadership and operations:
  • Build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, training, and coaching.
  • Set goals, provide feedback, and drive performance improvement and succession planning.
  • Lead change management and share best practices across teams and units.
  • Translate business plans into actionable work and ensure policy and process compliance.
  • Communicate objectives, plan resources and budgets, and track results.
  • Remove barriers, address issues, and guide contingency planning.
  • Oversee administrative functions including safety, HR, labor relations, training, and quality.
  • Maintain continuous survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop reports, monitor metrics, and drive financial management and cost control.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Five years of experience in patient care delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and five years of experience in business operations, clinical healthcare, or a related field.
  • Four years of leadership experience.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon at time of hire.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Patient safety, nursing principles, and evidence-based practice.
  • Emergency preparedness and change management.
  • Process improvement and compliance management.
  • Conflict resolution and stakeholder management.
